Guidelines and Information for Weddings  

Wedding & Reception Rates

Making Your Reservation   Mt. Bethel is available for weddings May through October. Blowing Rock Conference Center’s reservations office is open Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.  Our phone number is 828-295-7813, or you may reach us via email: reservations@brccenter.org.   We would be pleased to have you come to BRCC and have someone from our staff  show you the available options, but please call ahead to make an appointment.   We require a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 when you make your reservation.  This deposit is applied to your bill.  BRCC accepts check, cash, money orders, MasterCard or Visa.    The total cost of your rental includes any rehearsal time you may need the day before your wedding.  

BRCC’s Chapels

• Mount Bethel Church is the oldest church building in Blowing Rock.  It is a small, white, simple frame building with a gable roof.  Mount Bethel Church is located a short distance from our campus, at 1211 Goforth Road.  The church is not air-conditioned, and is unheated, so we restrict its use to our warmer weather months of May – October.  The church does have electricity, but there are no restroom facilities.  Parking space is limited, so you may want to investigate options for shuttling guests to and from the church.  Mount Bethel Church will seat about 100 people.
• The Shuford Outdoor Chapel is located outside the west side of Corriher Lodge.  The Outdoor Chapel is constructed of native stone and will seat approximately 90 people.
• Our small Meditation Chapel is in Corriher Lodge, just off the south lobby.  This pretty little chapel with its glass block windows and stained glass door will seat 25-30 guests.  There is a piano in the room.
• You are welcome to decorate in advance of your special event.  You are responsible for post-event cleanup and for returning any keys or borrowed items.

  Miscellaneous   If the bridal party needs a place to change into their wedding clothes, please consider giving us a call in advance and we will arrange to set aside a room if it is at all possible.  Because our business centers around retreat and conference groups, rooms may not be available.  There is a small fee for the use of a room ($15.00).
